    Re: The O’Garbage Factor

    Mr./Ms. "Sanderella":

Sorry, sir/madam. "Puss" and "sissy" are "ad hominems," which correspond to the fallacy of ignoring the argument at hand and insulting your opposition. Quite the textbook example, I might add.

I'm a "joke?" Are you listening to yourself? You lack a defense, so you flail blindly, trying to portray rationality as "nauseating."

"Everything you brought to the table" previously was largely opinion and Fox propaganda. You deflect my honest request for logic by asserting that you've responded to it before...when you haven't at all. I can understand that you're fed up. I am, too - because of the fact that some people manage to deny pragmatism again and again. You have no sound arguments.

Please tell me how I've "whin[ed] about being attacked." You're the one who seems cornered right now. You're threatened, and - like a hound backed into an alley - you raise your hackles and bark. Do you have real (logical) bite? Even metaphorically, I think not.

There have been much greater shifts in that state over the same amount of time.  Not a major piece of news by any means.

    -----------------------------------------------------

Odd. The folks at the White House are peddling the same line. Yet the President made 5 appearances for Corzine, and said of him "one of the best partners I have in the White House." Democrats have a 700,000 registration advantage in New Jersey. Christie won by 100,000. Those 'Yes, we can" chants at Obama-Corzine rallies turned into "No, we can't."

donald - those were Pia's words.  But she makes a good point...and you do to..."give him time to screw the pooch" before beginning all the whacked out propaganda.

    ----------------------------------------------------------

I have seen enough to know that the pooch is about to be royally screwed. These people are ruthless in their attempts to create a monstrously huge government to control all our lives. They want to seize control of health care so that they have power over our very lives.

    Re: The O’Garbage Factor

    Fab,

    1. Haven't you been paying attention? Just Google "The Death Of Conservatism" and you will find over a million entries to choose from. Odd that you would use terms that epitomize modern liberalism "leechlike" and "parasitic" to describe conservatism. History will show it is liberalism that sucks the blood from society. The only casualties of liberalism's "War on Poverty" were the poor. Trillions wasted and the poor are still with us.

    2. I must have missed your list of Obama accomplishments. Was it so short that that it just flashed by?

    3. It's really simple, Fab. "Speak softly and carry a big stick." It has always worked in diplomacy. The Obama philosophy, borrowed from Rodney King, of "Can't we all just get along" will get you nothing but a beat down.

    4. Nuclear War was avoided for 60 years because the United States maintained the capability of totally destroying any aggressor using nuclear weapons. Just another version of "Speak softly and carry a big stick." Weakness invites aggression and our current president may as well be wearing a "Kick Me" sign.

    5. 1990 pages of laws and regulations to dismantle our current health care system and replace it with government care. If you enjoy your visits to the Post Office and the DMV and if you like the IRS, you will love ObamaCare.

    6. Last I checked Ahnald was being lead around by the nose by his liberal wife. Carrie Prejean for governor of California.

    7. That is what Obamanoids would like us to believe, but we will always have Virginia and New Jersey to remind us that we can correct the course of the Ship of State in 2010.

    8. Where in the Constitution does it provide power to the federal government to support it's citizens? Last time I looked we were to support ourselves. Are you suggesting that the government is our nanny?

And yes, I am a gentleman, but I am not a naive fool who believes that we can get by on wishful thinking.

    Re: The O’Garbage Factor

You are by no means rational or logical.  IMO, anyone who thinks Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is sane is neither.

No need to be sorry.  However my comment was more of a direct attack and less of an ad hominem.  I was about to refer you to the local library so you could look at better examples of "ad hominem", but I see there's plenty of them right here.  I took the liberty of showing you a few.... of your own:

"I have - up to this point - admittedly contained my impatience with your ignorance with difficulty."

Ad hominem.  And can you say "pompous ass?"

"You're just wasting our time with your circular arguments, out-of-line insults, and irrelevant scriptural verses"

His statement is "irrelevant."  More hypocrisy.  More whining.  More pompous ass.

"You and your ignorant comrades can have it all to yourselves"

    hmmmmm......

"Please know that I ask these questions in the spirit of openness. If we refrain from assumptions and insults, some clarity may be restored to this conversation."

Hypocrisy at work!  Having clarified that for you, you might want to take a little of your own advice and try that some time.

"Now seems to be the point at which you bring out your heavy artillery: more blatant lies"

So this poster is a liar?

No one here, including me has ignored an argument with you, and therefore not in any "corner."  However you have called people here liars for stating a fact or simply having an opinion, then claim they are attacking you when confronted with it.  This is why you're nauseating, and it's your extreme hypocrisy and the usual liberal  "do as I say, not as I do" mantra that takes you there.

Pia, thank you for your kind words.  As you can see, hanging on to my "glass slipper" is a little easier said than done for me.  I do hope your friend returns.

    Sanderella,

    1. Iran tested advanced nuclear warhead design. -- guardian.co.uk

    2. Foreign journalists arrested in Tehran crackdown -- Timesonline

    3. Israelis seize shipload of Iranian arms destined for Hezbollah. -- boston.com

    4. Iranian protesters march chanting; "Obama, Obama, you're with them or your with us." Response from the White House was not encouraging.

That hopey changey stuff does not seem to be working too well.

    Re: The O’Garbage Factor

    Donald,

Unfortunately, these very real facts (just like Obama and Frank stating their desire for a single payer insurance system)  are completely ignored by the left.  I suppose it's understandable though - people who wear blinders can't see all that much.

The article appeared on both "Army Times" and "military.com."  Go to search engine and type in military recruitment 75%.

    Re: The O’Garbage Factor

This reply is garbage.  Does not address any subject.  Just a bunch of harsh words from an angry coward behind a computer.  No point in being agressinve here, my son.  There is nothing you can do but write and post words.  Might as well make them intelligent and count.  You have not done that.  Tough - is for in-person confrontations.  I love those too!!!

    Re: The O’Garbage Factor

    Pia --

Sorry but the minorly offensive (if at all) comments about materialistic were completely forgotten with the venomous uncalled for attack by Sanderella.  By the way, the materialistic comments followed a string of posts from Greg where he specifically posted to brag (his own term) about his 4% (meager) raise and his television.  By definition - that is materialistic...not an insult, but a word to describe his theme.

Well - let's say at least 12 months....fair enough?  Anything less is just political.

    Re: The O’Garbage Factor

Wimps?  A political point of view does not define wimp.  In -person confrontational avoidance?  That might.  Avoiding service to your country...avoiding fighting in wars you so in love with?  That surely is wimpy.  Being logical is certainly not.

    Re: The O’Garbage Factor

    Sanderalle,

Like the rest of the stupids, you are mixing definitions.  You are upset when you are trapped into providing objective evidence for your positions.  When you get cornered you start with name calling, then you get called out for it.  That is not aggressive, that is cowardice, wimpy and sissy-type.  Aggressive is how you act as a person, not on the computer.  Think hard about what is upsetting you - it is because you are unable to logically support any of your positions, not anything to do with whomever you are engaging.  I imagine anyone who has been to college is quite upsetting to you.  Good.  suffer.  you seem to deserve to.
