Yeah, I give you credit: it started in mid 1970's when CEOs decided to start sending jobs to other counties and the American public was no longer interested in holding leaders accountable and being involved. But Bush did NOTHING to stop any of this, and in fact, made it worse. How? I can write a book on it but here's a few: lying to a nation about WMD and squandering our surplus (this has also cost many people their lives), unprecendented tax cuts and favors for the super-rich and corporations, energy prices which SOARED (I was paying $4.15 a gallon last summer in NE OH), and the creation of more government (which the Republican party is supposedly against): Homeland Security, and of course the capricious Patriot Act. It goes on and on....

As for personal responsibility, I agree.

As for promises and lies, the man has not even been the president a year. The opposing party is doing everything it can to defame and slander him, instead of working for the common good of the country. Seems like he's done more in 9 months than Bush did in 8 years (I mean things that are actually beneficial).

Before you accuse others of ignorance, CHECK YOURSELF.

Perhaps he can hide behind religion and throw the word communism around like George did. I think we'd all be better off then. YEAH, RIGHT.

BIG test for Obama - Iran has been working for DECADES (not only since Bush, as some like to claim) on two nuclear sites that helped Iran's clandestine nuclear program. Obama "talk" to Iran was cheap, mostly over and made Obama/USA look like suckers. Iran - stall and develop, stall and develop, stall and develop.

One promise is health care. Obama and his followers have no problem with the current sixty billion in Medicare fraud (second only to cocaine trafficking) every year.  It's in the news that one guy that was finally caught told the feds how easy it was... our imbecile government was depositing over 40 grand into his bank account daily! And you libs expect America to buy a government plan that will cover all of health care? If the dweeb government can't contain fraud in Medicare, how in the hell do you think they will contain the monstrosity fraud that will beget all of health care?
