Change: the last thing I remember the Duffus in chief doing before riding off into the sunset was initiating a monster bailout, that tiny little thing seems not only the same but magnified!

I could see a day in the next decade or two where there is another revolution spurred on by the working class. The have nots will rise against the social elite. The poor will rise up as riots are already being seen in the last decade around the rld.

The politicians and their kickbacks, dirty deals, and exorbitant self salaries and bene's will no longer be tolerated as this is spinning out of control. It used to be an honor to be elected in Congress and serve your country, now it's the same as getting a winning lottery ticket.

The children of our generation or their generation are not going to tolerate working only to pay taxes, and payback massive debt that went to support the corporate greed. They just won't work and will resort to taking what they need.

And the excessive corporate greed and growing unbalance of upper mgmt versus employees will not be accepted and use the working class as cheap and slave labor continually raiding their compensation to support their excess.

Since no one learns from the past, history always repeats itself, it is just a matter of time. Remember the French Revolution and the American Revolution. And even the American Civil War was also a revolution started over unfair taxation and an imbalance in compensation. The northern states continued to raise taxes on raw goods produced by the south and the southerns could not make a decent living anymore. It's a revolution when you win, a civil war when you lose, just remember that.

And there is no representation of the people anymore, you represent and payback your party and elite group. It now just some talk to get voted and then screw'em. It is way overdue and the reason for this recession, Greed just in general by the upper class of wealthy politicians and executives collapsed on itself with a few wealthy groups fighting it out. So they moved their money to a safe place and raided our IRAs and 401Ks to save their wealth and companies. Then raid our salaries, jobs, and compensation to keep themselves continually getting money.

I already seen massive state tax increases as well as federal tax increases on many items. And the further the have and have not's separate, the resentment and violence will grow. And then the attempt to placate them with a few benes will not work anymore. The working class will continue to have a smaller purchasing power due to the continually increasing taxation to which an economic growth will only be minimal and mainly supported by the wealthy.

I expect this to be world wide and why the UN is requesting power over the US military and our government wants to grant it. It was in a Bill proprose in January. Gun control first has to happen which has been underway for the last decade world wide in an attempt to keep the money and power to those groups in control.

TNBirdman - And I see Limbaugh, Hannity, Michelle Bachman, Newt, Tom DeLay, Palin leading the revolution. Meanwhile, they would have to break up for lunch and a siesta. Oh and don't forget President Perry and his Texas Republic. The neo-cons will have their own country at last and will now cease to pollute the American gene pool. And may I suggest a slogan for the new nation: Texas - Too small for a nation. Too big for an insane asylum.

The big problem is not Obama. It's the Senate. A number of so-called "moderate"", "centrist"Democrats are tryintg to block Obama's legislation. For example 1.7 million people are going to lose their homes because a group of Democrats refused to back the Durbin Amendment.

Senator Ben Nelson is trying to derail any attempt to allow people to enroll in a publicly financed health care system - even though such a system is cheaper and more cost-effective than the dysfunctional health care system we have now. (55 million people have no access to health care, approximately 24,000 people a year die because they cannot get the medical care they need.) Although Senators get publicly financed health care, financed by the taxpayers - they find nothing wrong with denying the tax payers the same medical care that they themselves receive.

As far as the Concerned Souls over Generational Debt that Omaar mentioned. That's also a farce. Look at the escalating costs of going to college. This is a real generational debt and Republicans and again Ben Nelson don't really give a rat.
The BIG generational time bomb is global warming.Scientists are telling us that global warming is proceeding at an even faster rate than they previously had projected. Yet Republicans keep insisting that global warming is a hoax. And so-called moderate Democrats would sooner sacrifice future generations than find ways to stop carbon emissions.
The GOP right now is out to destroy the planet. That's the real generational theft. Let's not forget that.

Bush's 8 years of deficits totaled 2.1 trillion brining the national debt to 10.7 trillion odllars. Obama's first year 1.8 trillion and it is projected he will double the national debt in 5 years and triple it in eight. That is thirty trillion folks. Debt service alone interest only will exceed half the current budget. He makes Bush look like an amateur in spending.

Once he delivers niversal health care those working will have to pay 20% of their income to pay for it. Can you take a twenty percent pay cut and still pay your bills. It is free only to freeloaders.and the more you make the more you will pay. Why should someone making 1 million dollars a year have to pay 200,000 for health insurance when they can buy a premium policy with little or noo oout of pocket expenses for about 20,000. They are being forced to pay for the non-payers which will be plenty.

8 years of Bush 2.1 trillion in debt. ! year of Obama 1.8 trillion and growing. By the end of his first term he will have out deficit spent the first 43 presidents. By the way the dems had 1/2 of congress in 2004 and all of it 2006. They set the spending and to his discredit Bush signed off on their wild spending. Get congress back to the GOP in 2010

Is it a question of apeniding or is it where and why its spent. a person spends lot more to build the house then he or she earns in a year however without that house we would not have had this base and grounding.

PREZ OBAMA SAID THAT THERE ARE NOT TWO SETS OF RULES :

PREZ OBAMA IS A LIAR !

WE THE PEOPLE MUST GIVE OUR TAX MONEY TO HELP THE RICH, TO HELP BIG BUSINESS, TO HELP THE BANKS, TO HELP THE CREDIT CARD COMPANIES, TO HELP THE AUTO INDUSTRY, TO HELP THE UAW MOB.

WE MUST PAY OTHERS MORTGAGE , WHEN THEY GET LOWER RATES.

WE MUST WATCH AS CEO'S LIVE LIKE KINGS AND BECOME MILLIONAIRES.

WE THE PEOPLE MUST PAY THE BILLS.

COMRADE OREO AND CONGRESS DON'T HAVE RULES.
