Good point. And therefore, since we know intake of alcohol, the wrong sort of exercising (overdone), belligerent activity to endanger the fetal development, diet, and a whole other plethora of activities could equally be legislated against the mother of such a developing baby - especially if we are to classify that fetus as a human and treat it ...

This post by Jeremiah says it all and emphasizes why this is not such a black and white issue of killing or saving lives. For this reason, for the conundrums found in the context of his argument, I do not believe that government should be making these decisions...let alone legislating them. For if we legislate under the premise that a conception ...

Very good point you make about morals not being the sole propriety of the religious. However, I do believe you responded to another post, which I did not write.

BJ - This is the problem with legislating abortion...calling conception a human being, for example...or prioritizing that birth over the life of the mother, or what to do in cases of rape and incest for example. Certainly not a black and white issue...and defaulting to not legislating is a good first start to protect the already independently ...

I am the ''left's keeper'' I guess, as you're the ''right's''...although you claim ''neutral status''...which is huge BS. THe only, and I repeat ''only'' medium where my ideas have been considered ''left'' has been here with people such as yourself who only can see through red and blue tinted glasses. It is ''win'' or ''lose''...the subject ...

Vypurr - ''Rob, please do not underestimate me in what I know about military service'' Likewise. USPS has a very proud history in the Unied States, byb the way. It is envied by many countries. Government has been the bedrock of many, many industries, like aviation, which woulod never have begun without it. Like it or not (by GOP definitions) ...

This reply wouldn't be so absurd if you didn't look at the poster's name: ''Peta's on Crack''. THis guy is talking about parents who loved them and negativity...oh yeah...and looking at happiness. Interesting.

I commend you for a particular source - The Economist...the (in my view) most objective and consistent news source for over 150 years. They consistently look at every issue from a prosperity and growth through the free market perspective, regardless of party affiliation. Not my only source - but certainly very influential. I ...
