I don't deny typical Christianty, the Bible or anything else....I just don't know if they are true. So I believe what I feel strongly to be true until I have reason to believe otherwise. Not really interested in what Gnostics believed. I think we all need to make up our own minds about the case for God. It's that simple.

Faraday, Newton and Galilleo to name a few "big name" briilliant minds believed in God......does that give you pause? Probably not.....you are at your best being annoying and missing the entire point of others' words....such is the mindset you portray in your every comment.
I do not advocate anything........I simply have stated ...

You are right, many of the founding fathers were deists, but many had there roots in Christianity. Sorry to have made such a sweeping statement, I was wrong. I do not take the Bible as creed. However, I do believe there must be a Creator behind all things, a Force that drew up the plans, so to speak. It just makes logical sense to me, and yes, ...

Boy, you must like me......you respond to everything I write! Let me rephrase so you may understand what I meant......IF there is a God, He is the same for all religions, atheists, agnostics....whatever. Now does that make a little more sense? IF......should have included that.
To go a bit further...I don't mind if someone is atheist, Jewish, ...

"Most of us feel the existence of God is just too big an issue for puny human beings like ourselves to try to decide."....this was something the writer of the article said, not me. However, I do find that to be a very accurate statement, hence all the debate on this thread.
I have decided for me....not you or anyone ...

Bugsy:
I don't pretend to know the nature of God...but I have my beliefs about Him. I just feel very strongly that all creation is the evidence of a Creator....Intelligent Design. I call that Creator, God.
I am not trying to say that my belief is the only "right" one, just saying that to me, Someone is behind all things ...

Are you so arrogant to not suspect there may be things that your mind just can't comprehend? Think of the very real possiblilty of races in the universe that are millions of years our senior.....perhaps we couldn't understand the fantastic technology they would have. By the same token, do you expect to understand the ultimate Creator of not only ...

The very thought of no beginning or end is not a concept that our minds can solve. Therefore I make a logical assumption that there must be a supernatural explanation, one that our limited intelligence cannot comprehend. Logic would dictate if this was true, then the possibility of a Supreme Being is likely.
You really don't need to think ...

skeptic:
The person I originally posted to deserved the reply I gave him. He was going to "humiliate" someone who was making a scientific case for God. In other words, he was quite arrogant as are most atheists. They try to take an intellectual tact toward believers as they are somehow threatened by the possibility of the ...

Catspaw,
Hello and I hope you are well. You think there are different Gods for different races in the universe? I don't agree with that.....I think God may take on different forms to identify with all the races. I bet they all have their version but I would bet it's the same God.....just disguised to appeal to all of His different creations.
